I thought it was an interesting concept. A pair of screenwriters are trying to sell a screen play about a serial killer that videotapes the murders and leaves the tapes behind at the murder scenes. The studio is semi-interested in the screen play so they take a one-year option on it. Before the year is up, a real serial killer begins killing actresses and leaving videos of the murders behind, much like in the script. The twist is, the killer is re-enacting scenes from Hitchcock movies. The studio decides they want to make the film (of course) and they want the script to parallel the real murders. So now we have a killer following a script and a new script being written to reflect the murders... confused yet? A lot of finger pointing and accusations and a pretty good twist and, well, you'll just have to read it to find out what happens.
All in all, I thought it was a pretty good read and it would make a pretty good movie. ;-)
